Things to Do
Beyond its fabulous beaches and coastal walks, there is plenty in Elie and the surrounding villages to keep you busy. You can dare the Elie Chain Walk or visit the 16th century harbour. You can enjoy some watersports (if you want to brave the North Sea temperatures!), do some seal spotting, or golf at the two fantastic links courses. If you want to explore further, you can hop along to the neighbouring villages of Pittenweem, Anstruther or St Monans, each with their own rich history and idyllic scenery. Each of these villages has interesting sights, including sites of historical interest (such as St Fillan’s cave in Pittenweem), gift shops, art galleries and harbours.
